Privacy and data safety
FIXTracer processes FIX logs on your machine.
The sample, report, render, and version commands read and write local files. They do not transmit FIX logs, reports, packed JSON, usage events, or telemetry.
The Technical Preview has no upload service. It has no hosted parser for real or internal logs.
HTML reports and packed JSON can contain FIX fields, identifiers, account-like values, proprietary fields, venue fields, and trading activity. Use the same storage and sharing rules as the source logs.
- Use only machines and directories approved by your organization.
- Apply redaction where appropriate.
- Store reports and packed JSON only in approved locations. Follow your data retention policy.
- Delete working copies securely when they are no longer needed.
Public examples, screenshots, and demos use synthetic data only.
Do not include raw production logs in feedback. Use them only when both your organization and the receiving channel approve the disclosure.
